Im looking into purchasing a prolite pad and wondered if buying a used pad would be an option??

Im not sure though if they would still be as effective if having been previously used on another horse??

Do they mould to the horses back and retain this mould or do they re-mould each time they are used? Im confused

They're fine. They're made of super dense foam and spring back into shape. Very old ones can become a bit thin and stretched but I've still got one many years old that are in good condition. The only way they can be damaged is by prolonged crushing by something sharp and heavy. The foam just can't spring back then.

They last for years.... They don't seem to mould, they go back to original shape.
