Are wanted ads against T&C?

Are you horse shopping then? Lots of people ask for horse shopping help which seems to be fine? :) x

Beginning the process of, yeah :D Just don't want to be burned and seems to make sense to ask on here first.

You can word it cleverly like lots of posters seem to do :D

Eg don't put, wanted .......

But does anyone know where I can find ?

Problem is, I've answered a few of those myself :p

I think you'd be fine asking on here, most people would be happy to help and suggest things.. Just word it in a certain way! (: x

What I found helpful was to ask for a reality check on my budget for the type of horse I was looking for, as well as asking for opinions on a few adverts. Most people enjoy 'window shopping' for horses - I know I do. I still look at the ads for both horses and houses and have searches set up even though I'm not looking for either atm. :)

Are you looking to buy or loan? :)

Thanks guys :D No way of going about it surreptitiously now though, eh? :D

That said, in all seriousness, I may actually need shopping help. It's a minefield out there and I don't think OH would go for Horse Number Three if the second one turned out to be unsuitable.

What sort of horse/pony do you need shopping help for then missus?
Ideally what age/height/type etc? & to do what?

:)

I've gotta get our wedding out of the way first (end of July) but after that I'll be looking for something I can hack out and chill out on while I bring Millie on. On the one hand, I want the moon on a stick (safe, sane, no bucking/rearing/bolting/spooking), over 15hh (not even sure I can fit that small), under £1000 (!), must be able to live out etc. On the other I don't care about breed, or even age if it can still hack and do some jumping (would love to do trec). Doesn't need to be a total novice ride but would be nice if OH could have a pootle around on it as he'd like to learn. Nothing of any excitement whatsoever :D just something I can actually ride and enjoy while work is being the bag of dog poo it currently is. That's what I wanted Millie to be soon, but she's greener than expected.

I've been mooching at the for sale ads all over but I'd also be happy to loan if it could come to 'my' yard. It's this bit that prompted the thread - I completely understand owners being wary of full loan these days and seeing I'm a real hooman (rather than dealer in dark glasses) might help :)
