It is well worth a read regardless of whether you are planning to work with horses - but it also includes a very accurate and funny description of the horsey person who is perhaps taking an affinity with horses a step too far.

And this got me thinking - do you think you are becoming horsey to its most literal extent? Is it just me who automatically thinks "ooo that's spooky" when passing one of those revolving adverts, notwithstanding I am on foot, in the middle of the City, where I am unlikely ever to ride?

lol yes i know exactley what you mean,i dont like driving or walking round country lanes ect, lorrys scare me the list goes on

LMAO no not the only one! Every time I see a push bike, I think 'bike' wouldn't be so bad but I don't even still have the horse that was terrified of them either lol

Iam the same too, I always look at for 'spooky' things and wonder how Meg would cope if it makes me do a double take! And I too, hate walking on country lanes when the big lorries and tractors come SOOO close, makes me shiver and miss a heart beat! Horses are so brave.

I was driving through a town yesterday and spotted a wheelie bin on it's side with the bin bag blowing like a wind sock and the first thing that came into my head was 'oh Candy would hate that'

. Mind you I don't fit into the category of long hair tied back in a scrunchie, never accompanied by a man and usually with a small dog. In fact I am the opposite as I have short hair(much easier to keep tidy with horses) am married(how else could I spend so much time and money with my horse) and on top of that I have a large dog.

I am very headshy. Can't bear people sneaking up behind me. Can't be touched without knowing someone is there. I often spook when someone appears out of the corner of my eye or walks past me. I even spooked when a cyclist went passed me one day!

I can't go in lifts or small spaces or crowds and I feel much happier when I am outside and can see the sky and breathe the fresh air.

We had a new member of staff start this week and she is very tactile and likes to hug. She was briefed by the other staff not to even think about it before she met me!

Right now I am moulting! Or, more correctly, I am growing a palomino coat

Only because the horses' loose hair seems to have transferred itself to my sweater. Tell me, why is it, that when hair sticks to your clothes it is always the right way ?? And....why is it horse hair, not fur?
