Hi, I'm building my own menege, and boy it is very costly...
are you replacing your surface, is it sand &amp; rubber!! if so and you live in or around Surrey pls e-mail, I can take it off your hands, and use it.... thanks <font color="red"> </font> <font color="red"> </font>
 
Yeah &amp; if anyone is replacing the roof of their indoor school, can I have the old one please?

I am replacing half of mine (ie scraping off 4 inches and then topping up with another type of surface). I live some distance from you though and to be honest, haulage will cost you a bomb...but if you want it, its yours !! Just PM me.
 
I was offered a free sand school surface a few years ago, but by the time I had worked out a price for the haulage - 3 lorries carrying 20ton each, hire of a JCB and operator, it was actually going to cost as much as buying a new surface and having it delivered.

This surface was available to dig up myself, and at the bottom of a steepish hill where the trucks couldn't have got to, so it wouldn't taken the JCB operator about 3hrs to load each truck, and therefore the cost was prohibitive.

Think the surface costs of a school aren't that much in comparison to the laying of the base and the work to put it there.
