I am, but came in late, so it's on 13. Don't spoil it for me, please!!

I really felt for Ryan Moore, the horse didn't cope with the going, at all, so it poses the question, why the trainers don't replicate track conditions, when it matters. The horse was there to win, and would have done, had he not struggled so with the early stages.

I am. Watching the horses in the paddock for the Derby and really like the look of Geoffrey Chaucer.

You can't really see past Australia - he is bred for the Derby, more so than any other horse in the past! By Galileo - Derby Winner. Out of Ouija Board - Epsom Oaks winner. So both parents won over course and distance as 3yo's. Can their offspring replicate? I hope so!

I tend to back O'Brians 2nd string eaxh way in the Derby as his pacemakers always improve on the day.

That was exciting!

I'm sure my neighbours must be wondering what was going on, hearing shrieks of "come on! come one! YES!! YESSS!!!"

A very true run race. No hard luck stories - except mine where the pacemakers didn't win me my usual each way pot lol! Let's see what next year holds!

Such a race!! Australia was entitled to win. Considering the staggering influence of his sire, and considering his dam, her impeccable race career and her breeding, I wonder where Australia's breeding career is heading!! Will he eclipse the masterful Galileo? We'll see!

I also wonder if Kingston Hill hadn't expended as much energy as he did, and so early, that he may have been a greater challenge. A good race from K_H, just the same!

Not very sporting of me, I'll accept, but at least Godolphin didn't win. I'd have rather lost to a German! :p

Alec. :D
