Are your dogs allowed on the furniture?

Beastie is allowed on the furniture, but only if she has a blanket to lie on. She will only get up if she is told she is allowed.

The labs don't really get up on the furniture although Tina has been known to get up and sit on my knee!

The dogs and the cats are all allowed on Im afraid, always have been but they make way for people when told to move!

All our furniture is tough battered old leather so its easy to clean. If we had posh fabrics Id have had a nervous breakdown by now!

Beds yes, chairs no. Typical greyhound though will be found on the sofa streched out if out and door left open!

Ellie my JRT is allowed on the furniture as when I got her she was 2 and a spoiled brat! As she is small I don't mind and felt it wasn't fair on her to make her stop. If I had a larger dog then no it wouldn't be, none of my mums dogs, retrievers,lab and collie are allowed on the furniture at her house.

My dogs aren't even allowed in the house, let alone on the furniture.

The cats are allowed on the sofas but not on any other furniture, not that they try to go on any other furniture mind you.

Cats are allowed on furniture but only on beds occasionally, like at the weekends when we are there!

OH's dog (much to my disgust

) is allowed on all furniture and bed. Not allowed on bed when i'm there though haha!

Seriously, i would not allow a dog on furniture or beds!

My dogs have one chair that they are allowed onto and it's a race to see who can get there first.

My dog has his own sofa - but our sofa is sometimes suspiciously warm in the mornings

My dog used to be allowed on the sofa but since I now have a new leather double recliner in white there's no way on this planet he's even allowed to breath near it!!! But when I'm in bed and shout "mummy needs a cuddle" he knows thats his cue to get on the bed!!!

I always find it shocking that some people I know let their cats on tables and kitchen counters. To me that is just so unhygenic

Loki is not allowed on any furniture - he is very good and never tries to get up. Sometimes he is allowed on the bed if we are not at home (eg. staying with my parents) but he is only allowed up first thing in the morning when he is asked to get up.

He tried getting up unanounced once - but never again

My dogs are allowed on some of the furniture.

Suzie the old greyhound has her own huge leather sofa.
Bart is allowed on the leather sofas when my dad is not around......he knows when my dad has gone to bed and he climbs up. However they are not allowed on the sofas in the drawing room ( cream plus black dogs does not mix)

However they are not allowed on beds and very rarely try to get on them.

Same as Tia here, no dogs in the house, occasionally Rip sneaks in and tries to disguise himself as a rug but he would never dream of getting on the furniture.

Absolutely no cats in the house, my husband would be red eyed and wheezing within five minutes.

The Jacks are allowed where they like (except on the tables!!) but the big dogs aren't allowed - although I'll let one through for a cuddle sometimes when mum and dad aren't in!

i normally sit on the computer chair

the others take up the chairs

My whippets and greyhounds do....when I want/allow them too...not my bigger dogs....no way
