Another event report from us!!
Yesterday saw us head back to LD representing HHRC in the horse trails qualifier in the 90 😃
Beanzy posted yet another sweet dressage test for a 31!! With some lovely comments from the judge accurately ridden on an obedient and well trained horse - proud to have trained him myself! ❤️ His dressage seemes to have really turned a corner lately so its lovely to see all our hard work beginning to pay off!
Followed the dr up with one down sj - it was one hell of a miss at fence 6 🙈 he just didnt seem to clock it at all completely ignored my aid for take off and crashed through, no way that was staying up!! 🤣 #workinprogress it was however a more controlled round with the new bit so we shall see how he continues to go in it!! He's been somewhat cheeky as of late, running through through the bridle and forgetting i'm there to help so i upped his bit to a universal for a little more control!
He finished the day off with another stonking clear XC!! ❤️ It was the same course as the BE the week before so the aim was slow down!! We did manage to successfully slow up to come home inside the time!! 😍 I just love the feeling this boy gives me round xc these days!!
We finished on a score of 35 - the best in our team by 10+ marks!! and ended up 10th individually helping the team into 3rd!!
Sadly no champs for us this year but plenty of our club members will be attending
He has this weekend off whilst i partake in my sisters Hen do then he's off to keysoe on the sunday after i swim a mile in open water on the saturday!! For some reason i thought it would be a good idea to enter a swim challenge! Ask me again at 5am sunday morning when i'm bathing him!
Some pics of the boy doing his thing!!
And a few of my very well trained overgrown dog!! I do love my bear! His rehab is progressing well and we have started some schooling to accompany the hacking!
