I'm having a riding Arena built at the moment (well I was before it started raining and the builders downed tools and went home
). It's all very exciting and thankfully my non horsey OH has done loads of research and I trust him so that saves me having to think too much ! The one thing we can't decide on is the entrance gate. Firstly it would ideally be offset to one side which means the path leading up to the arena can be shorter. I can't think that this would be an issue but as most schools have the gate in the middle of the short side I wondered if there's any reason why an offset gate might be a problem ? Also does anyone have any suggestions for an easy to open / close (while mounted) gate latch? Thank you
