Please help. I have a rubber and sand arena which has just had some more rubber put on it to hlep the going, as it was very deep. Having now added the rubber and tried to mix it with the sand by grading it, it still rides too deep. I am only relying on the gods to water the arena. How can i improve the rideablility?

sounds like the sand is the problem. what type of sand is it? what grade of silica? you could try watering it then rolling it, but if it rode deep before the rubber it will still ride deep with a little spring after the rubber! what specs waas it built to?

We have sand and rubber too, but we have too much sand and find it compacts. Roll on September when the current surface is being stripped off and we're getting a nice new surface put down!!!

Hi I would imagine it is your standard grade. What type of grades are there? What type of dpec are there? It wa build for gerneral riding. Would lots of lunging up and down the center make it a problem? We tried rolling it with a JCB but made little difference. It does ride better in the winter so could it be a water issue.
