I'd really appreciate any information on the netting people put up around their arenas to help protect their surfaces from the wind and kicking up.

We are a few weeks away from having our arena put in and I'm very interested in putting some of this netting up.

Just wondered where did you get yours from?
How much did it cost?
How it looks a few years on?
Are you happy with it/would you recommend it?

Thanks for your help

Thank you. How much was it and are you pleased with the quality of it? Its just that I don't want to put anything up round my lovely new school thats going to look shabby in a few months time. I know that in life you generally get what you pay for, but sometimes there are bargains to be had!!

I have heard that people use it for edging arenas but thats not the application I use it for

I use it for chicken runs to stop the floor litter blowing away and to shelter the birds from the wind and sun and it works very well all round. Its generally known as a good windbreak and is widely used in smallholdings and gardens

I just offered it as an option, I am sure a Google would throw up some results from using this as a windbreak in an arena specifically
