Morning folks
We are in the midst of an arena refurb - basically, bought a house with an arena in place, but the surface was all but dead so we have removed it entirely. Fortunately the base was in great shape, so we have put in new drains, squared off the corners and will be sand-ready in a few weeks.
We are deliberating on what depth of sand to go for. Initially thought 6”, and happy to go with that, but just don’t want to accidentally go too deep.
We will also be mixing in some fibre for a bit of stability.
What’s the thoughts on depth? We are leisure riders so really it’ll be used for a bit of everything. We are very lucky that it is quite large, so want to make sure we get the correct quantity of material! I’m seeing mixed reports, typically 4-6 inches seems to be the norm… thoughts?! Thank you!!
