Arena Size too strange?

Would 37m by 37m be a bit odd size for a arena to ride in? This fits perfectly in the only location I can put a arena (or all weather turnout sand field for laminitic ponies according to planning).

Square is actually better for jumping - much more flexible. That's almost double a full size arena..........and so many are not quite 20x40......more than you realise............

I'd have thought it would be grand. It's effectively two 20 x 40 yard schools next to each other so will make dressage in a 20 x 40 metre school seem effortless!

No reason why you can't mark off areas if you want to use the space in more traditional proportions (20m circles etc) but still have the flexibility to go big, like for jumping as somebody said Sounds ace to me.

Have sand only for a depth of about 220mm on top of the membrane, hope that will be enough!
