We are planning to extend our 20 x 40m arena to 40 x 40m and need to source surface. Ideally I'd like chopped rubber though I've been very pleased with the pvc offcut surface we've had down for some years now. The surface will be used by an average of 5 horses a day and will be jumped on regularly.

What surfaces you recommend or not recommend? Price is a big factor and also location as we are in central scotland and haulage can be almost more than the cost of the surface.

Do Andrews Bowen not get up towards you? I can highly recommend their surfaces

Cant really help that much other than to say I would never ever go for rubber strips, really really dislike them and dont feel safe riding on them, not a single arena with rubber strips has ever felt goo in my experience. Rubber chunks are much better.
