Hi - just to let all futurity goers know that Arena UK is looking super and ready for tomorrow!

Just been down there and the arena is covered in flowers, fresh paint everywhere (at least it's white for those going continental!) and drinks tables etc for watching. Much better than last year.

Yes S I'm plaiting our foal - he's got quite a lot of mane already otherwise I doubt I'd bother. What are you doing with your foal's tail?!

Crazymare - I've managed to pick up some Original Source Lemon showergel from the village shop on my way back

I thought at least it'll keep the flies away!

I am getting nervous now! Sounds great.

I'm not sure if I should cut my 3 yr old's tail. His tail is quite thin so I might just leave it as it is.

I am not getting there until 3pm so I pobably won't get to see you in action.

Good luck to all!!

We are all bathed too! Ponies smell gorgeous - of apples!

Mare is plaited and trimmed sporting her 'bankrobber' outfit!

Am excited now I'm doing productive things...though am wondering if I should trim Callie's beard and tail? Am going to plait her tail.

well done

- we're all done too though I'm afraid I don't have a suit for mine. Left my mare having rolled in the straw and with baby chewing her plaits

See you tomorrow hopefully x

Ditto! arwen looks a right ol granny basher in her hoody. God knows if it will be in place at 6 am tomorrow.

I'm not plaiting foalie's tail though - no-one seemed to have done it at Myerscough.

Are you putting bridle numbers on foal or mum. I thought foal but lots last week were on mum?

I was planning on putting the numbers on Callie, unless they cover her little face too much!

Will give her a quick trim tommorrow then ASM - shes definatly a pony!!! Might leave Callie's tail til we get there, will only take 5 mins to pop a plait in if needs be.

Bridles are all clean, whites are all ready on hangers. Alarm set for 6.30am and my morning planned out!

Am only about an hour away though so haven't got to rush too much tommorrow, especially as Holz is all plaited already.

Good luck to everyone, I am going to watch ( to see what is expected for when I take mine in a couple of weeks) so will see if I can put faces to names.

it looks like it should have been scrapped years ago

Small stubby Blue wagon - lots of rust. Big dark bay mare - built like a bison. And Mouse (hopefully, or we'll be in trouble...).

edited because I have no manners - how will i know you?

Black Mercedes estate with a Bateson Ascot trailer that is slightly green rather than white!!!

Edit - bright white mare with a dark dark bay filly - the smallest in sight!
