Phone around local contractors as they'll be cheaper than a specialist arena company. Thats what we did, and they had built them before anyway. As long as they get the drainage right....thats the most important thing!
Yes - call local farmers/contractors rather than a specialist company. I was quoted £20K for a 20 x 40 (albeit we have a few access probs for materials which meant that had to be double handled), as opposed to £12K from a local guy. He's taken us to see a few that he's done before and talk with the people who own them - that's always a good idea - and is fully conversant with herringbone land drainage and different surfaces. So it pays to shop around. Just have to wait for the PP now - if only that as as easy!
