I have been reading posts about arenas and the costs that have been men tioned so far are less than 50% of the best quotes I have so far.

I am not looking for a rolls royce arena, but with he right drainage etc. Without fencing so far I am being quoted around 25k !!!

Can anyone help with some suggestions for contractors, suppliers, etc that could help me build an area for about half of this cost. (i.e. +- 15k)

Location: Gloucestershire, if that makes a difference.

Thanks

I think you should take into account many of the people actually built their own arenas so no labour costs were included.
It also depends a lot on your ground, if you have fast draining rock subsoil like us you can have virtually no drains other than the fact there are stones underneath, if you are on boggy ground you have a big financial outlay for drainage and building above the ground level.
It also depends on transport costs, with the current price of diesel I reckon they may now be double what we paid three years ago.
