ignore, my daughter uses bebo and has lots of photos of her horse on there and from comments ive seen left on her page it makes you wonder if these people actually know the front end of a horse from the back!

you look absolutely fine!

i think people's opininon of what is too big for a pony are shaped by buying. when you're buying a pony, you wouldn't get one exactly the right size because whoever the pony was for would grow out of it almost straight away! so people think that the size you'd buy at is the right size, even if it's not...

Agree you look fine, your legs look ok to me as they are not round his knees as I've seen some people's recently and you look as if you weigh nothing. He looks really good in the last photo, just ignore those losers.

I'm 5ft4 and Castle was only 12.2hh... I hunted him regularly last season and even though I was far too big and rather heavy for him he seemed happy enough to carry me

omg your squishing that poor pony......

He would have you on the floor in a second if you were too big for him!!

Thats how i think about things....ponies are a lot stronger than people think....and they will soon tell you if your too heavy for them!! Then can drop their shoulder and you will be out the window before you can say ouch

Yes you look too tall for the pony.

No you are not too heavy for the pony.

Height is neither here nor there, it is weight which makes the difference.

Im 5ft9 and i ride Mae that is now 14.1hh!!! Luckily shes a nice wide cob.

She carries me well, we both seem happy, I wouldnt listen to other people!!!

you're fine, you're very skinny and all leg anyway, he can carry you easily.
the fact is though that as you keep growing, you will need a bigger pony to take your leg up... if you've got long legs, riding ponies that are too short for you can really mess up your position. sorry, but it's true... hope it won't be soon though, he looks lovely.
