ARGH I HATE DH - will complaining actually get any results?

I am really annoyed right now.
I ordered from them for the first time over 3 weeks ago, one item turned up. Rang up today to question my other item and they told me they cancelled it but left a message telling me this which they didn't. I haven't had a phone call from them or any messages on either phone or email addresses (all correct on the invoice).
They also cancelled my sale order from 2 weeks ago.
I know quite a few others have had problems with DH, so wondering if anyone has complained to them?
 
I have only tried to order twice from them, depite basicly no-one having a good word to say about them I decided to at least try them.
At least you have had good service from them.

PR - I rang up the first time as it wouldn't accept my order (none sale items) she reassured me that they were both in stock and would be delivered to me, thought nothing of it especially since I haven't heard anything from them.

The second time was their wednesday sale, and again didn't hear anything from them my order went through fine. Then got a email from a woman (would have expected it to come under the name of DH) and it didn't even mention DH in the subject title so ignored the email - was them telling me one thing was out of stock so they cancelled the order. Really don't understand why they cannot just send the items that are in stock out.

I ordered a numnah from them a while back - I chased it after 3 weeks and was told it was out of stock and would not be back in stock for at least 6 weeks! I was really annoyed that I had to call them to chase, they should have told me straight away, got it somewhere else, cheaper as well! I would not use them again.
 
They used to be really good, but I must admit I don't order stuff from them anymore because of poor service - cancelling orders, stock not expected 6-8 weeks etc. It is such a shame when they used to have a good name.
 
I hate them too! I phoned up today chasing an order of which I had confirmation of via e-mail. The girl was really disinterested and said that I had been left a message to say it was out of stock so order cancelled......I have not been left a message and was furious that they would try and use this excuse so complained but it didnt get me anywhere. Not doing there customer service very good or PR me thinks!
 
Best way to tell them how you think about them is not to order from them any more - I used to buy lots from them a few years ago when they were good - don't ever buy from them now as service so bad. And if I order something I want it now, not in 3 weeks or 3 months when it is in stock. I know from a company they used to buy from that they don't stock all the things in their catalogue but put them in anyway, and rely on their suppliers to get items to them when ordered, to then send out. Therefore, there is always going to be a delay on some things, although this is not obvious when ordering. There are enough nice, smaller companies out there who care about service and are civil, that I don't need to order from a company who don't give an impression that they care about me as a customer.
 
I have requested a catalogue 5 times and not one has turned up yet.

Tanta, after all this mess I will not be using them again and will stick to the smaller companies and tack shops were I actually get what I want when I order it and some decent customer service!
 
I must have been lucky cos I've had loads of orders from them with no problems at all! I do tend to phone to check item is in stock first though but they have been really good, their own brand breeches are brilliant
