Well got him ready mostly yesterday. Got up at 7 this morning to finish him off before going to opening meet this morning spend 3 hours getting ready this morning and he refuses to load and gets away from me in the field oh and to put the icing on the cake pulls a shoe off at the same time just to make sure I can't go!! Not a happy bunny as he has never refused to load before and this was going to be our first time hunting. I was so frustrated that I just burst into tears as its takes a lot for me to get to this stage
 
Oh you poor thing. How frustrating. I bet he was picking up on your nerves or excitement and obviously felt there was something dangerous he would have to face if he got on the trailer. They really do pick up on these things.
 
Oh dear - really feel for you. I'm guessing he picked up the tension from you and the change of routine, and knew something was up - doesn't really help though. Have a good cry and start again for the next meet I guess.

Well I just untracked and left him be as I'm just so annoyed. If he is going to be like this every time then I'm not sure what to do.
 
Sounds just like my knobber horse. They always know when you really want to go somewhere. Do some loading practise over the weekend to make sure and try again next Saturday :)
