Okay, any plans I may have had to upgrade my trailer to the new model have just gone out the window....

I rang my local dealer, who sold me my new 505 in June for £3050.....the new model, without any extras, is £3750!!!!!! That's quite an increase, and even that has a 10% discount. Just spoke to OH, he said "Silly to pay £700 more just for a ramp on the other side and a different colour." I have to say in this case he may be right

You can choose which side the side ramp and jockey door go - although this doesnt cost any extra. You can have a choice of 5 colours, which, unlike the old model, do not vary in price. There are extras such as a trailer camera, rear van doors and so on - as well as the original 'extras' from the previous range - but these all cost more on top of the figure I was quoted. As far as I can see, the base model remains the same - for my £700 I would get no added extras, other than the latest design (and less white on the roof to keep clean!) The dealer just said to me that apparently Ifor have not raised their prices regarding the cost of the aluminium flooring since 1999; they have now decided, evidently, to make up for lost years!
 
lol what a cheek! Plus I don't really see why choosing which side your ramp and jockey door go on, would be any use at all. I certainly wouldn't care!

I didn't buy my Ifor new, it was a few months old when I picked it up - so I didn't realise different colours were more expensive! Which colours cost more?!
 
For me, having the ramp on the left would be the main reason for getting the new trailer, as Ellie has had some problems coming off on the same side that she stands. It's no big deal, however, as we have worked through it; I certainly dont want a left ramp enough to pay £700 for it!

With the old style Ifors, white, red, blue and green were all one price, but if you wanted black or silver, you had to pay around £300-400 more!
