my horse is advertised for loan at the minute. have had some really nice people ring/email me and arranged for them to come see him so fingers crossed one of them will want him :) but i have had a lot of bloomin numpties ringing and emailing me...!
had one girl who asked what she would have to pay for (fair enough...replied and said it would be a FULL loan so everything, like having your own horse) so she said "would that just be stable and shoes then.... i wish horses were that cheap. haven't got the heart to reply and say- stable, feed, shoes, vaccs, dentist, worming, insurance etc!

also, is it really bad that i don't reply to people with really bad spelling? the odd word is fine, but when its really bad all the way through!?

Tee Hee...I didn't reply to anyone who used text talk!!!

The trouble is your always going to get kids who haven't asked their parents, people who have only had a few lessons at a riding school and thing they can ride.
There are people who want the 100%, perfect horse and if your normally good horse puts a foot wrong once they get sent back. There are people who also think that they are being given the next Badminton Winner or an Grade A show jumper and sound disappointed when you tell them that your horse is only suitable as a hack/light jumping...even after putting that in your advert!!!
You get the horsey child turning up but the parents haven't got a clue and I've even been asked who will look after him over Christmas!!!
Let's just hope that out of the muppets you find a happy loan match :D

I don't envy your task at all!!
You will have to narrow it down any way, so you might as well start at the begining, and reply to the ones that sound best right at the start.
Also agree with what sedgemoor chaos said, you will probably get a lot of kid's reply.
Good luck, i hope you find someone suitable
