We're adopting an old terrier from the NAWT, and did a dog-meet today

While I was standing around outside the entrance waiting when a man pulls up.....
"hey, you want a dog? I've got two" I peek into his car and see a waggy-tailed JR. I tell him we've just reserved a terrier. "but these are terriers, have them, they're free. You can have them now. I have allergies" he shows me his inhaler, as proof I'll assume. I tell him to go and speak to a member of staff. "but they're nice. I'm sure the girl is pregnant and all, she's always had good litters. I can't keep them. I'll have to leave them here."
Arghhh!! He then left his car blocking across the entrance as he wandered off to go tell the receptionists

They obv couldn't help him right there and then. So he drove off and I wondered what would become of the little thing and all her pups
definitely don't like humans today
