Barney has managed to get into a tin of sweets, god knows how but I guess the cat could have knocked them down. There was a few raspberry sweets covered in a thin layer of dark chocolate and a crunchie in there (and some mints but he left them!)
He seems okay but what signs should I be looking out for incase he's poisoned?? :( very worried now!!

If that's all he's eaten, he should be fine.
just look out for abdominal pain, vomiting, restlessness and if you're at all worried give your vet a call, but I'd imagine he'd be fine :)

Thanks :) he seems okay at the mo and he would have eaten them at 9ish this morning as my mum went out at 8 and they were still there but they were gone when I got up at 10. He's a big dog but very accident/illness prone :(

He may well get a touch of the runs! My old retriever once ate an entire box of milk tray but apart from a bit of diarrhoea he was fine so i shouldn't worry too much.
