So following 50% lesion in ddft 2 years ago Roo has been out of work for those 2 years. We just weaned her foal which went really well (he's happily out in the grass livery field now) and Roo has been settled at her temporary yard. I've been walking her out twice a day and lunging (at a walk with tiny bit of trot only) twice a day as she's not getting any turnout at the moment, well yesterday morning she decided that 'wall of death' was required and simply would not stop for several minutes!!! She's now short on the leg that had the tendon injury with a little swelling around her fetlock! argh, horses - who would have them!

Am really hoping she's just tweaked the joint (there's a touch of arthritis there) but my plan is next few days box rest with bute and if she's not 100% sound come monday/tuesday then time to scan. The thing giving me some hope is that there is only a little swelling, no heat and she's not sore to feel so fingers crossed (and some H&H vibes please) that she's not done too much damage
