Lady has phoned me twice now, to say she likes the sound of ponio, that she wants to see him. So we arange a time and date, and I phone the night before to confirm. "oh yes, the kids are so excited, we're definately coming" checks place, directions etc.
Rush around this morning trying to get everything done, didnt have time to muck out the two I was meant to be doing, so planned to fit it in later. Rug pony up so he doest get wet. Check where the hunt will be. Rush home, grab a cuppa, grab child, and rush out again.
WHY oh BLOODY WHY do stupid people arrange to come and see an ANIMAL and not bother to turn up or call? Child got fed up, second horses went which wound pony up (he wanted to go hunting too bless him). Waited for an hour, called her and she diverted my call.
I then had to rush around to get others mucked out, get them in, get pony turned back out and dry my (by now soaking wet and miserable) child.
IMO people like this should be bloody shot.
I have someone else coming to see him tomorrow who sounds lovely. Have directed her to come to my house because at least pony is nearer than the yard and we can stay dry and warm whilst we wait
