I'm so annoyed, well was, I've calmed down since but the blood will start to boil again as soon as I get back down to the yard again this evening and find that it's still missing.
Why can't people keep there mitts to themselves? is it really that difficult to borrow something and put it back after you have used it, I don't mind at all people using certain things of mine if they put it back, but I manage to buy my own things, we can't others.
You get attached to your mucking out tools don't you, it was light weight, it was the right size, we had been faithful partners for years, we spent many a time having one way conversations and we've perfected the art of scooping, scraping, flinging and patting, it served my stables...no sorry my horses well and was best buddies with my brush, so you can't blame me for being slightly sentimental about my black plastic shovel can you?
And before anyone says it, ''well you should lock your stuff away'', then please don't. I don't see why I should have to lock my things away, things like a shovel/brush etc, when they are neatly stored in the corner outside my stable (my stable being on the end of block too), ready to use at the drop of hat when ever I need it because I'm on DIY, when there are others knocking about the yard that belong to the YO that are there for anyone to use at any time....although they would have to spend 10 minutes searching for them.
But OH NO that's too hard, I can't be ar*ed to go looking around the yard and using one of those old heavy metal ones, that involves opening my eyes and walking around, I may get out of breath plus I wouldn't know where they were kept anyway...because that's how often I actually use a shovel!!!!
''Owwww look over there, that looks almost like a shovel I think... and I've seen her doing strange things with it in her stable that involved moving your arms and a wheel barrow, perhaps that is what's commonly known as a shovel these days?'' I'll give that a whirl. Oh my oh my, how things have changed...hmmm... ooow yes....poo picking isn't quite as bad as I thought it was with a nice light weight plastic shovel, I know, I'll fecking keep it just in case I ever start feeling funny again and actually feel the need sweep up after myself or pick up my horses droppings from in the school''
*meanwhile*
''Quick dial 999 and call an ambulance, we have an emergency on our hands, a full livery has broken into a sweat by a trying to carry out a simple yard duty involving...wait for it, a shovel! '' says one of the horses leaning over his stable door.
How will this story end? and will I get my shovel back?
Sorry pointless little rant I know but it made me feel better
