Anybody got these, if yes then what do you think of them and do you ride in them. Also do any of you have the Muck Boot, again what do you think of them.
I am thinking of having either for Christmas, but just wanted to see what people thought of them.

Thankies

I bought them last year and tbh i am disappointed with them (Ariats).
They are extremly comfy, smart and lovely to ride in, but they have been leaking for the last 2 months

I will be replacing them at Olympia but with something else!
I must say though - i probably didn't look after them as well as i could.

I bought mine a few months ago and so far they're doing great. I suffer really badly with chilblains and they've stopped that completly (even with only one thin pair of socks!)

That getting worn to death at the mo since I ride everyday in them as well as walk the dogs 2 or 3 times a day. They're great to ride in too

Ive also had loads of comments on the look of mine since they're a bit different... they really do look very smart (at least until I trek through all the mud)

With ariats though, you do have to be aware that they have a weak spot across the toes where they have that seem. I bought a pair of ariat short boots in the past that only lasted a year and upon whining to the saddler about it when I replaced them - he asked if I actually looked after them (which I didnt). The second pair I had are still going strong after 3 years. So, imo, its quite important you look after them and treat the leather properly or they will crack (as will most leather boots with any seems on them!)

I dont like the muck boots just because i think they're ugly
