Can anyone recommend the Ariat Glacier boots or something similar?

I get really, really cold feet when Im up the yard and saw them advertised a catalouge and thought they sounded quite good..

I want something thats looks good (not too heavy) sturdy and comfy (as well as being warm )

I used to like the equitectors (sp) but havent seen them on the market for ages.

I have the Harry hall ones which are Tan Leather - they are lovely and warm, as I get cold feet in the winter too!

Ariat ones are good, but can not recomend an excellent pair!

I have the Ariat Grasmere and they keep my toes toasty in the winter and cool in the summer, clever clever boots

I highly recommend them, pricey but worth it - I am normally really hard on my footwear and these are now coming into their second winter which is nothing short of a miracle for a pair of boots that I own

yes i can, i wear them the hole time, they are so comfy and the only boots that dont rub me!!!! they are so comfy and i reli recommend them, although they take a week to were in!

Only problem with Ariats is.. once you've owned a pair, you can't ever wear anything else again (your feet wont let you).. BUT they cost a bomb.. and only seem to last 5 min!

No fair.

Im going shopping today for a pair of the long ones... either the arctic tall or the grasmere (i think??) - the other long ones anyway!

Like you i suffer with cold feet and Ive had my first chilbain appear on a toe this week so managed to beg with OH to buy me some boots.

I'll let you know what I think of them! Assuming they fit of course... i have rather muscley calf muscles

I've got the ariat terrain and they are the best boots I have ever had. They have been worn nearly every day for a year, I do dog walking for a living and walk about 20 miles a day I wear them for that and also for riding they are shown no signs of wear - except for being dirty!

I did have to get a half size smaller than usual though.

You can still get the Equitectors. Will try to find the website, it is Shico or something like that (it is www.equitector.co.uk)

The muck company boots are very very comfortable too. I've just bought their pull on joddy boot which is very tough and durable, extremely comfy and can be ridden in too.

Also fraction of the price of Ariat

- not to stylish though !
