Ariat breeches - how do the sizes come up?

I'm looking to buy some Ariat breeches online and wonder if the sizes are fairly accurate or come up small. I know a lot of American stuff comes up big, but these are sized by waist measurement as are UK breeches. I normally take a 30" so would a 30" Ariat be OK or do I need a bigger size?

Just got myself 2 pairs of Ariat Tek low rise jeans ( gorgeous) and some pro-breeches from there.....I asked this question....I take a size 10, which equates to a 26 and is about right for sizings. They fit perfectly.

I would order your normal size....

I've been on the hope valley website and was also wondering the same thing!!

Only trouble is, I usually take a kids 28 or 30 (due to having skinny bum & legs!) so think the legs and bum will be too big for me on the adults.

I have just got some Tek jeans, I am a size 12 and got the 28s. They are snug but not too small, just hope they don't shrink in the wash!!!.
I also have the Ventura leggings and powerstretch fleece pullons, both in medium which fit perfectly.
If you get the Tek jeans off their Ebay site they are only £15
