Sorry, I know there are loads of threads about sizing, but I just can't decide whether to keep mine or not and would welcome thoughts.
I'm just short of 5ft 7 and normally take a shoe size 7.5. Based on things I read on here I ordered a 7 as they come up big, and I ordered them in wide because my calves are just under 15 inches. The Ariat sizing chart says that for a 7 regular is 14.5 inches, and the wide is 15.375.
Now they've come I'm worried they are too big on the calves - I can do them up comfortably, and whilst there isn't masses of room if they stretch at all they are going to be too big.
Also, they seem a bit high on me, which is odd as I'm not exactly short. I have some heel risers though and given people say they tend to drop I guess that should come right, but I'm worried they're going to end up too baggy on the calf.
What do you reckon, change them for the regular and squidge my calves in and they will stretch, or will I be okay do you think?
