I don't own a pair but I tried on a pair at the tack shop the other week and LOVED them. My husband wouldn't let me buy them (I saw him giving me dirty looks through the shop door). I'm 5'9" and they came up plenty high enough for me and were so cushy as I was walking around the shop. I think the calf sizes do run small though. My left leg is 15" and the right is 15 1/2" and I had to take the full size calf in a size 7 so don't know how they would fit on larger calves.

I love mine for coziness however am gutted they dont "drop" like normal leather boots. I posted on here a while ago asking if they would with time but apparently not

However, the zip is decent enough that I can wear them unzipped a bit from the top so they dont dig in when I jump (ie. the zip wont slide down more as you ride). I use them purely for competitions and so far really like them.

My friend has them, she absolutely loves them and says they are the most comfy boots she's ever had for riding in. She's had them for about 3 weeks I think. She is very tall and slim, I think hers are the regular fitting.

I have them and really like them, despite the fact that they don't look as sleek as normal field boots. The leather doesn't shine up quite the same either, but they are a godsend in cold weather and are very comfortable.

I didn't find them too tall and was glad they didn't drop otherwise they would have become quite short on my legs. (I normally wear a regular height Ariat Crowne Pro.) The suede on the inside of the calf is nice and grippy, which is good for the colder winter days when your saddle feels a bit slippery.

They are the best best boots EVER!.

They do come up small on the calf as i have stadard calfs and they were too snug so i changed them for the fulls.

They do come up lonng too im 5ft7-8 and i can just get away with them.

They are fab winter boots but they would roast you when its warm.

I said i wouldnt wear them on the yard but this week while its been cold i have so this has reminded me to clean them and put dubbin on. I instructed the others to tell me off if i let them get grotty and i got my first telling off last night.

I want another pair for when these go so i hope ariat keep them going and dont discontinue them.

I love mine too!! Had them for Christmas and haven't bothered with my half chaps since! Rode this am in the freezing cold and could still feel my feet after 90mins in the saddle!!

I think shorted legged people will find them too long tho

? I was really surprised that an 'off the peg' leather boot was long enough, normally have to go for made to measure but the Bromonts were perfect.

Thinking of getting some 'normal' long leather boots by Ariat but not sure if they do a 'competition' boot?????

Love mine, but they do come up high. I'm quite leggy and they are *almost* too high for me. Also my calves are very skinny but I still came up a 'regular' width so would echo the narrow fit comments as well.

They are amazingly warm, haven't had cold feet once since wearing them. Not ideal as yard boots though as they seem to let the damp in when it is boggy wet. Still they aren't designed as yard boots so I can't complain on this front. Big thumbs up I would say.
