Ok so I'm thinking ablout getting a pair of Ariat Bromont Tall Boots but looking at the size chart the calf would be 16.1'' for a size 7. Do you think they would strech to 16 1/2"?
Does anybody have a pair that can give me some advice, it would really be appreciated
Thank You :)

Ive got two pairs and love them, they do give, but they do come up quite narrow in calf width. I wouldnt say I have tree trunk legs by any means, but I had to go for the wide fitting! I will get a tape measure and measure my calf.....

I agree! Go for a wider fitting if possible! I don't know where they get their sizes from as everyone I know who has a pair has had to get a wider fitting than the guide would suggest! If possible, go to a tack shop, try some on and then order them online as they will generally be cheaper!

PS. They will be the most comfy boots you will ever own! I love mine! :D

I had to get the wider fitting as well as I found they came up small and my calfs I wouldnt say were that big. I love mine too and would def buy a new pair, they are very very comfortable!

thank you! I've managed to persuade my friend to let me try her's tomorrow, hopefully they'll fit! I've had a pair of mountain horse boots in the past but everyone says that the ariats are more comfortable and if thats true she might not be able to get them back lol :P

thank you shell1978, my calfs are a bit wider but I'm hoping they'll fit if I get the wide/full fit! Been looking at some of the reveiws and falling for them a little more lol

your welcome! you will never go back to anything else once you own a pair!

I bought some last winter, 7.5 full, my calves are 16'' I nearly sent them back, they were soo tight I couldn't get the zip done up and they were also too long. I got some heel lifts and just wore them around the house, threaded a hook through the zip pull and they stretched and dropped enough to keep.:) They are easier to get on if they are warmed up first, in the sun for a half hour.

ah good tip thank you :) I'll try my friends worn-in ones tomorrow and see how I get on They need to be perfect to justify spending the £200andsomething lol
