Help me decide! I need a new pair of long boots, for riding only, not yard work - and not for competition. The Ariats have the advantage of being quite narrow in the leg, which works for my skinny calves, but they are so much more expensive - are they worth the difference? I need them for all year round use, so warm in winter without being too hot in summer - anyone have any views?!!! I don't know how wide fitting the MTs are?

I have the insulated Ariat bromonts, you can get the un-insulated ones. My ones are cosy for winter shows, a little warm for depths of summer but not unbearable by any means. Love mine.

Thanks Magicmelon - that was the next question - insulated or non-insulated. It would be lovely to ensure toasty tootsies but I do tend to get quite warm and wondered if the insulated ones would be too warm in milder weather?

Anyone have the non-insulated ones and find them warm enough in winter?
