Ariat gaiters - would I return them to ariat themselves?

I have some gaiters which I love & have worn a lot for the last 3 months or so. Unfortunately the press stud at the top has broken.

Should I return them to the shop I bought them from, write to ariat, or just get a cobbler to mend them for me?

They are in reasonable condition, but obviously worn in.

I'd get then fixed as I'd know they were well worn in and for convenience etc, but if retuning I'd say to the shop you bought them from

The press stud shouldn't have gone that easily. I would take them to the shop you got them from and tell them. Yes they are worn but you didn't buy them to sit and look at them

You never know there may have been a faulty batch

Personally I would ring SMD distribution as they are the distributers for ariat in the Uk - they told me to send them my Ariat mules as they had studs which just dropped off and they were fantastic to deal with

Please return to the shop you bought them from, under the sales of goods act your contract is with them. The gaiters were not fit for the purpose that you bought them for and you have the right to have your money refunded. It is then up to them so sort out with ariat.
