Ariat Glacier and Grasmere tall boots

I have a simple question, what do you do with the spare ends of your laces when you do these lovely boots up? Having very skinny legs I end up with enough leftovers to dry washing on so have tried knotting them up, tying in bows, tucking them under the tabs at the top but they are just so untidy. Can anyone help?

Tuck them into the boots.

Or leave them dangling and fall over.

Having tried both I recommend the first option

Yep, I tuck them in to the boots. I was a bit 'eh?' when i first did them up but quite used to tucking them in now!

I did double knots and cut off.
