Ariat Grasmere sizing

Hi, do the Ariat Grasmere boots come up pretty similar to the Windermere's in sizing? I had a pair of Windermer's size 5 and I'm looking at getting a pair of Grasmere's but buying over the internet because they're cheaper from some places and if I don't get chance to try any on in a shop?! Any experiences?

I have a pair and had to go half a size smaller, they do come up big.

I tried a pair on & they did come up big & came very high up the leg. I'm only 4"11 but they came up so high I couldn't have walked very far in them whereas my dublin river boots are a good length.

I'm a 4/5 (depends on the shoe type) and i got a 4.5 and they fit fine

Ditto this. I'm normally a 6.5/7 and I had to get a 6.

However worth mentioning that I have very narrow feet - if you have quite a wide foot then they may be truer to size.

Footbed appears the same in both. I have 5.5 in both. Could wear a 5 too. Both snuggly so don't eed thick socks.

Me too I bought usual size seven but too big go down at least half a size

I'm 5'3 and they were too tall for me too, cut into the back of my knee when trying them on, windermeres are shorter and fit perfectly

hmm..thanks everyone! I like to wear thick socks, will probably go for 5, if they're not right I can always send them back/sell them!

I'm a 5 and bought a 5 - now they've been worn quite a lot I can get a thicker pair of socks on with them but certainly not too big

Why not try on in a shop and ask if they would match internet price - some shops will price match

Just for your information - even in the 6 (half a size down for me) I can still fit two pairs of socks (one normal, one thick and fluffy) very comfortably
