Ariat Iceberg Tall Boots

The Ariats i ordered just arrived and I have put them on. They seem quite stiff and rigid. Anyone got them? Do they become more supple and pliable as you wear them? Only they don't see that comfy at the moment and at close to £100 I want to be sure before I venture beyond the sitting room into the big dirty outdoors and can't send them back!

Are they leather ? if not then i don't think they will soften up, the grasmeres are very soft though. Can recommend them.
I dont like stiff boots either, the sergio grasso gaiters are also very very soft. ( tds sell them ).

Are they the new ones with the zip at the back and the tie at the side? If so, they do become more comfortable. However, after replacing my old ones with these one at Christmas, I do prefer the older style. I'd be interested to know also if anyone else has the new ones and if so, are they having any problems with leaking water in?
