Having a lot of trouble with my big toe joint, I think it may be my Ariat Cobalt XR Devon pro "expensive" riding boots, I rode for about 4 years in the same pair of £30.00 cheapies and never had any problems, I went to my local tack shop to buy some more cheapies and got talked into the Ariats, (over £120.00) too late to take back as I have ridden in them a lot hopeing the problem would go away

any one else had any foot problems with new boots ?

They have had plenty of time to break in, thinking they are breaking me in, they dont feel too tight when walking in them, maybe it's the way I ride and put more pressure on my right foot.

Is it a problem just with one foot? Could one boot be slightly smaller than the other/poorly stitched? Can you measure round them to see if they're the same? I had this with a pair of expensive shoes, the seam was not quite in the same place on the left compared to the right shoe - you could measure a 2mm difference up from the sole which wasn't obvious when you looked at them - and it rubbed, so they changed the pair and it was fine. I'd contact Ariat and ask if they've had any problems with sizing quality.
