Ariat Riding Tights?

How thick are these? I'm looking for something with a full seat that will give me full range of movement. But I don't my bits jiggling everywhere (like where you ride in loose tracksuit bottoms)

Are they more suited for summer use

I don't wear them myself, but have now bought four pair of Ariat tights for my OH as she really likes them. She has both styles and they are both tight fitting and warm. The material is not as thick as normal jods, but she practically lives in hers when its cold (when is it NOT cold), so I guess the level of support is good.

I will add that she's 5' 4" and 8 stone, so not a 'big' lady, I don't know if this makes any difference either way.

Oh and they are like gold dust to find, last two pairs I bought, I had to drive to Devon to get!
 
I have some Ventura riding tights, they are only suitable for the summer as quite lightweight, but they fit well and are comfortable. I am debating about some powerstretch ones for winter, but like you wonder how thick they are. I would like them to be like the Musto snug jods??
 
I've seen them on ebay for not a bad price, I want to get a dark colour just in case they get thinner and become a bit see through in time!

Do they feel tight to wear?
