Just wondered if anyone has had any joy with a warranty claim for a pair of Ariat boots?

I bought a pair of Ascent Paddock boots last March from Equipt that were in like new condition. I love them but the soles started to come off in August and have been letting water in ever since.

Would it be worth trying to submit a warranty claim for them? I didn't buy them direct from Ariat or new from a retailer so I'm not sure if they'd honour it as a gesture of goodwill.

Has anyone had any experience of Ariat's customer service?

Thanks :)

I have had great results from their customer service, but it was many years ago. I sent them emails showing pictures of the fault and the have replaced 2 pairs of boots and a jacket in the past. I wouldn't mention where you bought the boots. The only thing is maybe they need to see a receipt, I can't remember if I had to provide one.

I don't have a receipt from Equipt other than screenshots between me and the seller but I did contact her back in August who'd sent me a screenshot of when her daughter had won the boots in a Pony Mag competition. Not sure if I should provide this or chance my arm just with the photographs

I had a pair of Devon Pros replaced after the stitching started to come undone. I had had them a couple of years and I just contacted Ariat to ask if they repaired them. They just sent new boots which I was very surprised at but I didn’t have a receipt of purchase. And I had to send a pic of the boots cut across the top to render them unusable. I thought they were very fair.

Agree they’re usually very good so worth the ask, I’ve had 2 pairs of new boots and 2 pairs of gloves free but obv bought new

I had success getting them replaced but the replacements also were faulty. I haven’t bought ariat boots since and have had mates that found the quality poor.

I had terrible service from them. Unfortunately I bought the boots at Badminton and couldn’t find the receipt or remember which store I bought them at which is unusual for me. I had to go straight to Ariat. I basically had to cut the boot off my foot on the second or third time of wearing because the lining came away as I took my foot out and I couldn’t get it off. It was only stuck with glue and no stitching. They were Ariat Windermeres. I’d had a pair previously that had a similar issue but I found wearing wool socks solved the issue and it wasn’t as extreme. I appreciate you’re supposed to go to the retailer but they were obviously Ariat and clearly almost new and faulty. They wouldn’t budge though.

I still buy the Tellurides though as they’re the most comfortable boots I’ve found for my old achey feet.

I did a few years ago. My new grasmeres had the stitching all come loose around the bottom. I contacted Ariat customer services and they couldn't provide me with a replacement as the boots are discontinued so they provided me with a refund. I had to draw a big X across the label inside the boot and provide photographic evidence that I had done this but that was it.
