We can be found on pages 96 and 97 of this months edition of Your Horse magazine :D

Just ignore the nasty picture of my skull they have used and gaze at the lovely beach photos of my boy instead :D They got his height wrong though....he has gone from 16'3 to 15'3, Im sure he will be delighted lol

Well done you!
PS is your beach photo taken at Troon or Irvine beach by any chance? Looks like the isle of Arran (my childhood home) in the background.

I think I'm in that issue as well, is it the May one?. I did the clinic so there is 4 pages of me looking like a crazed loon with a whip-whop and Aniseed looking like a donkey!

lol - no this is the June issue which came out yesterday. Im going to go pull out last months issue and have a look at your article though :)

yeah, we're very lucky. there's usually a beach within hacking distance no matter what yard you're at round here.

Unfortuntalely I'm a beach nut and it can be very distracting and means we get little to no schooling done. Hence now have a horse that just likes to gallop around all day every day!

Also means can see lovely Arran from my house.

*smug*

Oh very cool :)

When I rode work for Jim Goldie we used to take the racehorses down there - although not as often as I'd have liked.

I'll have a look at the mag when I'm out today

It is very embarassing! What feature did you do with them?

We are part of a 20 page confidence special they are doing this month - I had a really serious accident 3 years ago and ripped my head wide open - they wanted me to be part of the issue so that I could talk about how the accident affected my confidence and what it was like coming back to riding. They have printed a lovely photo of my head injury which might prove a tad gruesome for some people but they have also used the lovely beach shots we had taken last year at our first trip to the beach :D

Hevs - I just got a copy of Your Horse today and read about your accident - your injury looks horrific - well done for getting on with your riding after such a trauma. Your boy looks lovely and hopefully will continue to restore your confidence. The whole feature about confidence issues was interesting reading so I'm glad I read your post and went out and got the mag.
PS did you see the other Arran photo on page 8-9, quite stunning.
We are lucky to live in the West of Scotland (despite the weather!)
