Arko 2nd in Global Champions tour

"Nick Skelton from Claverdon, Warwickshire riding The Hales Family’s bay stallion, Arko III has finished runner up in this afternoons Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands.

European silver medallist, Belgian Jos Lansink took the victory riding Al Kaheel Spender S, jumping three clear rounds and finishing on a jump-off time of 44.81 seconds. Nick and Arko III also produced three foot perfect rounds, crossing the finish line in a time of 45.45 seconds, to take second place and the 60,000€ prize. The Netherland’s Angelique Hoorn finished in third place riding Blauwendrad’s O’ Brien.

So glad to hear of his results, I really do hope he stays on form with no more set backs he is an amazing horse, definatly one of the best horses we have to offer in the country!
