arnica?

can you give arnica tablets to a horse? Daisy has a recurring sore back, it has flared back up again and my chiro has managed to squeeze me in on Tuesday evening to see her but I'd like to make her more comfortable until then. Can you give arnica tablets to a horse and if so what dosage? I have been using arnica gel but thought the tablets might be more effective because she's a hairy little beast and I'm not sure it gets through the layers

I do. If it's bad bruising i tend to give four tablets three times a day. Have def found it helps

yes you can

i have some speacial horsey arnica tablets, and give two a day if needed. with human tablets, they may be of weaker dosage, so maybe have to give more? im not sure

Just to add mine are human ones hence the high dosage

Yes, you can...pop them in her feed...the teeny human ones are fine...and ihatemarmite's dosage sounds sensible.
