i moved to a new yard last year and me being me didnt really put much thought into taz's bucking as he had always but a few in every now and again but then they got worse and worse to the point where i couldnt ride him any longer.. me being me didnt think it was his back as i had never had a horse with a problem back and his saddle had recently been fitted.. the yard manager told me to get his back done and i was shocked and i felt so horrible when she told me it was really bad and that he should have 1 months paddock rest then more physio then see how he is and if there is no improvement then i will need a referral :(

i had no idea and i felt awful as he had just put up with me even though he was telling me and i kinda felt like i had ignored him.. well the end of the month came and physio returned and she said that he was about 90% better and there was no need for a referral - feuw

so theres one of my obsessions i see a horse swish its tail and im like it needs physio! haha im really bad for it too :/

and the other is lameness taz has been lame too many times to remember through stupid self inflicted injuries and i now always think hes lame... i dont call the vet but i have him trotted up repeatedly and i really do feel like an idiot when he was fine :/

sorry long :/ are any of you like me? or am i just strange? haha :o

nope we are too!
Our girl has had about 2 years of lami, pedal bone rotation, on off lameness - finally diagnosed with Cushings (long delay due to inexperienced farrier and stubborn vet!!)
BUT now....everytime she trips/misses a step/hits a stone/bobs her head/gets a tuft in her coat/coughs/farts/sneezes (you get the picture!!) my heart is in my mouth and we all find ourselves looking at other horse's feet, body shape, depressions above the eyes.........nightmare!!!

fingers crossed, touch wood, things are on the up currently though....
