I do feel your pain, I spent so much money on wellies and yard boots etc. In the end, I splashed out on a pair of Bareback Quebecs about 5 months ago, I was kind of limited by my freakishly large calves, but they come up high enough to deal with most mud and so far they haven't leaked or split and I have been wearing them all day every day since the day I got them in mid October. They are waterproof and keep you feet dry, and they're so comfy, not particularly warm but are fine in this weather with thermal socks

I've had my Toggi hudson boots for years, on the second pair now, they have a canvas top. But they don't make them any more ? I would recommend Toggi hands down though. I've also had success with proper Muck Boots.

This is why I just buy hiking boots, warm feet, good grip, waterproof and I can sling a pair of half chaps on and ride in them ??

My current ones are decathlon’s own brand and are amazingly waterproof and warm ❤️
