I received this from a friend who lives in Count Durham just to the West of Newcastle.

".... the most horrific thing happened and I have been in floods of tears ever since. Some little scroat set fire to a pigeon cree that backed onto my friends stables and outbuildings which killed two of his Clydesdales, a 16 month foal, his old donkey numerous geese/chickens etc. Everyone is still in a state of shock. Then I heard that another friend had her car torched another one had all her tack/rugs etc stolen and Shone Steel’s mam found two blokes and their horsebox with the ramp down parked next to the gate of the field in which her paint horses were grazing, they scarpered as soon as she challenged them. All this within a day or two. Everyone is really frightened and is having to take extra security measures".

How awful

The ay people are "brought up" (wrong choice of words but you get my drift) these days, Its just nightmares like this that have been long overdue, those that were children with no love, discipline, etc are now adults - its awful

how sad for those poor horses suffering like that, those louts want locking up and torching but we shouldn't stoop to that level of course....

That's awful

How can people do those things? It makes me sick with rage.

...and breeding for themselves.

Disgusting, everyones nightmare, I wouldn't be happy with anything less than life meaing life in prison, bollocks to parole and all that crap, they have destroyed peoples lives for ever, you would never get over something like this till the day you die, I feel so sorry for all concerned, not inluding the criminal, they could rot in a ditch for me, I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire

Peter that is absolutely awful. I find this so distressing as there is nothing I can do to stop it or change anything. I always live in hope that one day these people will see the light and feel the pain which they have inflicted.

On a seperate issue, congratulations - have read your letter in H&H.
