I'm having a totally paranoid moment and I'm stressing about my photography coursework (AS) exam portfolio which is due on Tuesday. I'm reading through the objectives and reading them again and now just confusing myself as to what is actually wanted:p

Soo would anyone just be able to tell me the sorts of things I should have/need to add so I calm myself :P

These are the objectives

- Record observations, experiences, ideas, information and insights in visual and other forms appropriate to intentions

- Analyse and evaluate critically sources such as images, objects, artefacts and texts, showing understanding of purposes, meanings and contexts

- Develop ideas through sustained investigations and exploration, selecting and using materials, processes and resources, identifying and interpreting relationships and analysing methods and outcomes

- Present a personal coherent and informed response realising intentions and articulating and explaining the work of others.

I've got all my photos I just need to get them stuck down in my folder and I've got a bit of research on various photographers but its the other writing thats giving me issues, I just never know what to put and I'm dithering because I don't want to put stupid things in there (story of my life really

)

Haven't done an art folder since gcse (am now in year 13 and picked up photography AS this year as they only just started doing it at my college) and typically can't remeber much of what I did at GCSE.

So yeah anyone who has done/is doing art or photography (or just knows what the hell I'm on about) could tell me what they've done I would be most grateful

Cookies/hard liquor if you got this far

Write a load of rubbish, ramble on about light and stuff like that, works every time

Sorry not much help, I just finished my art GCSE and wrote stuff like that, just analyse what you see- colour, texture, contrast, movement etc. Try to link your own work with other artists work too.

I've been predicted an A so what I've written must be half decent..
I'm doing photography AS next year-eek!

What did you think when you saw what you photographed?
Why did you think it would make a good composition? (lighting/shadows/shapes/texture)
What is the photo's effect on the viewer? (Does it make them feel relaxed/inquisitive/confused..?)

Think of the content of the photo, the light levels, contrast, exposure, effect (black and white, sepia..)

Eg: You've taken an ordinary photo of a subject, then canted your contrast levels, say to enhance the colour/vibrance, then you made it black and white, like a memory?
What editing techniques have you sued on photos? Why did you use them? What effect did this create on the photo? Was it what you intended?
Complementary/clashing colours.

See some of above.
Summarise your photos.
What it is, why you did it, did it come out how you wanted it to, why did you like it etc etc.

Hope that made sense
