Mare diagnosed eventually with arthritis bone growth on stifle. Has been injected with steriods and the synthetic joint fluid stuff a few days ago, i can see no difference and mare still looks severely lame. Anyone know how long it should be before you should see a difference if the injections are going to work. Got the feeling the vet did not hold out much hope of the injections working either. Dont want the mare to suffer unduly either with invasive medical procedures or with pain so any experiences with this problem would be appreciated.
