Almost two years ago my 18hr old AQH was diagnosed with arthritis in his C5 and C6 vertebrae in his neck. This was originally diagnosed with issues regarding the farrier but later noticed that he was struggling to rise after lying down. He’s been on one danilon per day since as well as devils claw and steroidal injections into his neck.
Whist he is still comfortable to be ridden the stiffness/ locked legs he experiences after lying down seem to be taking longer to return to normal. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How long were you willing to continue
