Just wondering what people do for their oldies and arthritic ponies and horses this time of year. At the moment shes kept double rugged, balsamic vinegar, no bute once a day if its dry she has her magnet boots on. Just started using radiol m-r muscle in this cold damp weather we have been having. Wondering what else people do or have any old remedies they have heard

Good post, I'll be interested in the answers 2! My old TB mare insists on being out, has some arthritis tho not major major. I got some decent magnet boots at an equine car boot recently and really think they're making a difference! I tried the cider vinegar but didn't c a difference. Vet said not a huge point in glucosamine etc at her age, but in summer when ground hard she'll get no bute if she wants it (she likes to let me no what she does or doesn't want!!). I hv found using leg wraps in field when it's frosty has helped keep her joints a bit looser.
